| Here is the story behind the day I tried out for band. I decided to go by Dr. Buckner's office last Tuesday to see when tryouts were. Well they were that day, so I went home, downloaded and printed out the music, blew a few notes and hightailed it back to Dr. Buckner's office to get a tryout spot. The tryout could have been better (understatement) but I'm just happy to have an opportunity to play again.
I had to work today, which might seem like a bummer unless you know that I was getting double time. Time and a half for holiday pay and time and a half for overtime. Not sure exactly how that works out. I guess we will see.
I almost have my holiday shopping done. It should be completed tomorrow or the next day Exxon willing. Well I guess I am going to go now. |
